Once again, I'm late in updating this blog.  It was an artful summer.  The season started off with the Hookeuses Bor'de'lo exhibit PORTADOR at the Old Church in Barachois, NB (Eglise Historique de Barachois).  The exhibit was throughout the summer months of simply amazing rughookings worked into recycled doors and windows.  A well received vernissage took place.  My rughooking was framed in an old window frame from the historical Tait House in Shediac, NB.  Titled, "HONEYMOON SUITE WITH A VIEW".
The theme of recycled doors and windows continued at the Old Church in Barachois, NB with the outdoor exhibit which is still up til the end of October.
The Hookeuses Bor'de'lo exhibit of reproduced works of the acadien artist Claude Roussel  in rughookings was on display once again, but this time in the City of Saint John, New Brunswick at the New Brunswick Museum and Gallery.  This exhibit had been up all summer as well and was very wel received.
My rughooking, "GLIMPSE OF SEASONS PAST"
