University of Moncton Exhibit, Les Hookeuses du Bor'de'lo & Roussel

The exhibit "LES HOOKEUSES DU BOR'DE'LO & ROUSSEL" is up and running at the University of Moncton Campus, Acadien Museum/Art Gallery in Moncton, New Brunswick.  The vernissage last week was extremely well attended and received.  This exhibit is getting rave reviews in the media.  This unique and extraordinarily talented group of women have once again outdone themselves.  This exhibit is a must see.  It will be open til February 2015.

Congres Mondial Acadien 2014 Exhibit

Once again the rughooking group that I am a part of, Les Hookeuses du bor'de'lo, will be exhibiting in the upcoming Congres Mondial Acadien 2014 this August in New Brunswick, Quebec and Maine.  I will be taking part in 2 of the 3 exhibits:  "Symphonie en H Majeur" and "Roussel et Les Hookeuses".  I have interpreted Claude Roussel's work in my rug "GLIMPSE OF SEASONS PAST" using various fabrics such as wool, cotton, satin, and fleece.  Recycling fabrics makes the art of rughooking both environmentally friendly and satisfying.  Please come out to see the amazing and oh so inspiring work of this group of women and to celebrate la fete d'Acadie!
